& Testing
Our workshop is equipped with CNC milling and laser machines, welding stations, bending equipment, and powder coating facilities, giving us the ability to design and produce world-class wheelchairs right here in Guatemala. These capabilities allow us to control quality, customize components, and continually improve our designs.
Testing matters. That’s why we’ve built out a test lab with ISO-certified machines, including a wheelchair drop test and two-drum durability test. Design undergo tough trials to ensure they can handle the demands of daily life — from city streets to rural trails.
Expanding Mobility Solutions
The Beeline platform goes beyond wheelchairs. We also manufacture walkers and standers using the same modular system, extending mobility support to those who need more than just a chair.
Carpenter Bee
The Carpenter Bee was born out of necessity. When global supply chain issues made it difficult to source traditional wheelchair materials, we looked closer to home. After extensive testing, we identified locally and sustainably sourced hardwoods that were both durable and lightweight.
By building chairs from this renewable material, we not only reduced dependency on overseas parts but also created a model that is lighter, sustainable, and rooted in local resources. The Carpenter Bee proves that innovation doesn’t just overcome challenges — it transforms them into opportunities for resilience and impact.
Quick Release Seat
For the Honeybee, we’ve developed a quick release (QR) seat, currently in limited testing. This innovation allows the seat to separate from the base, making transportation easier — especially in Guatemala, where many families travel with wheelchairs on the roofs of cars or buses.
Cart Project
Mobility isn’t just about movement — it’s also about opportunity. Our push cart built in partnership with Innova, is designed to help users transport goods safely and efficiently, a vital need in Guatemala where many people rely on selling or carrying products for their livelihood.
The cart features auto-leveling baskets that stay stable on uneven terrain, making it easier and safer to carry items without spills or strain. By keeping the design biomechanically sound, we ensure users can push and maneuver the cart comfortably, reducing fatigue while increasing independence and productivity.
This project is another example of how Beeline’s platform extends beyond wheelchairs — innovating tools that empower people not just to move, but to thrive.
